Edizioni Piemme were established as an independent publisher in 1982, and have been a part of the Mondadori group since 2003.  They are a market leader in children's books, with sales of over 12 million copies of the notorious Geronimo Stilton.  They are also well-known worldwide as the publishers of Pierdomenico Baccalario, whose books have been widely translated into other languages.
