Dvir is the most prestigious publishing house in Israel, originally founded in Odessa in 1919 by the Jewish National poet, Haim Nachman Bialik.  Today it serves as the company's showcase imprint for the best in international literary fiction.


Zmora-Bitan Publishers was  established in 1973, and acquired Dvir in 1986.  The ZBM list includes classics of world and Hebrew literature, contemporary fiction and non-fiction, children's books, politics, biography and psychology.


Kinneret Publishing House was founded in 1978 and quickly became known as one of Israel's most innovative and dynamic publishing houses with a list of highly successful children's books, popular fiction, as well as an extensive range of gift books.


Kinneret are the very successful publishers in Israel of THE HUNGER GAMES by Suzanne Collins, and of Jeff Kinney's DIARY OF A WIMPY KID.  Recent acquisitions include TIMMY FAYLEURE by Steven Pastis, GODS AND WARRIORS by Michelle Paver, BEFORE I FALL by Lauren Oliver and LEGEND by Marie Lu. They are also the publishers of Ally Condie, Moira Young, Patrick Ness, Kristin Cashore, Maggie Steifvater, Richelle Mead and PC Cast - to name a few.  Michael Ende, Roald Dahl, C S Lewis and Lloyd Alexander are just some of the names published under the 25 year old MARGANIT imprint, where they are joined more recently by Cornelia Funke and Kate DiCamillo.
